Early ideas
need careful research
Work at Vatesco is at an early stage. Research helps clarify which problems are worth exploring and what would be needed to evaluate a possible solution.

Software
From a question
to something testable
A software idea needs a clear purpose before it needs a feature list. Vatesco’s early research includes web applications and software designed for a specific use.
- Who would use it?
- What information would it need?
- How would the result be evaluated?

for medical AI
Vatesco is researching how AI could contribute to diagnosis and treatment. An intended use, the source of medical information and how findings would be evaluated are questions to address from the outset.
Each product requires a separate regulatory and privacy assessment before clinical use.

Before joint work
Questions to address early
A possible collaboration needs a clear purpose and an understanding of what each party would bring.
A defined purpose
What would be studied, and why? A clear question gives the discussion a useful starting point.
Known data sources
Where information comes from and whether it can be used are questions to address early.
Privacy from the outset
Discuss what information is needed before exchanging sensitive records.
Evidence before claims
A research objective and a demonstrated result are different things. Public descriptions should make that distinction.
Clear responsibilities
The parties involved and their roles need to be understood before joint work begins.
Information when it is ready
Project information is shared when confirmed. Early ideas are not presented as available products.
